Nikki Farrar

I am thrilled to join the vibrant community at Sekolah Buin Batu, where I will be teaching Year 1 students. Originally from New Zealand, I bring with me over 20 years of teaching experience gained both domestically and internationally in Malaysia and Vietnam. Throughout my career, I’ve been dedicated to nurturing a love for learning and fostering self-belief in children. My background encompasses a diverse range of teaching and leadership roles, enriching my educational journey.

Accompanying me to Sumbawa are my husband Sam and our twin sons, Samuel and Flynn, who will be joining Year 5. Together, we eagerly anticipate becoming active members of the SBB community. Outside of school, my family and I cherish time spent at the beach or exploring National Parks. Personally, I have a deep passion for wildlife photography and conservation efforts.

I am eager to meet and collaborate with the entire Sekolah Buin Batu community, and I look forward to a rewarding academic year ahead.
