Hello everyone, I am thrilled to join SBB as a year 4 teacher. I am from Halifax, Nova Scotia, a city on the east coast of Canada. I started my teaching career in Canada and then I decided to try out teaching internationally and I loved it! My teaching
journey has taken me to Kuwait, Sumatra, UAE and Egypt before arriving here at SBB. My decision to become a teacher was greatly influenced by my mother who was a teacher for thirty-five years. I even went to the university she taught at for my training in education. I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Child and Youth Studies, a Bachelor of Education degree in
elementary education, and a Master of Education degree in curriculum studies from Mount Saint Vincent University in Nova Scotia, Canada.
Outside of the classroom I love to cook and bake and am always looking for new recipes to try! I also enjoy hiking, going to the beach and reading. I am so excited to be part of the amazing SBB team and am looking forward to meeting you and
working with you to make it a great year.
