Hi, everyone!

My name is Ida Mursyidah Kamil, well-known as Ibu Ida Kamil. I was born in Jakarta, Indonesia. I have been having great time being a teacher in Sekolah Buin Batu since July 11, 2011.

I had educational background from a teaching faculty majoring in English Teaching and hold a degree in Islamic Studies. I cherish my educational backgrounds as they have been handy to me when mingling with a great variety of multicultural communities. I have had experiences working with people with different cultures, nations, religions and abilities either in formal and informal educational institutions. Hence, I learnt that those experiences reveal one essential fact which is I might be a good person when people around me feel safe from the evilness within me expressed through my words, deeds and power. In education, I strongly believe that as a teacher I automatically become a leader and a model, consequently, I should be the first one who applies the thing I suggest my students to do.

Most of all, I thank God for placing me in this beautiful island of Sumbawa. This fortune has shaped me into a better person, I guess, by having a better ability in looking at bright things even in a very trivial idea of sitting at the beach admiring different shapes of clouds.

Hi everyone! My name is Rosa. I’m currently teaching in kindergarten.  I have a bachelor degree in Psychology from Sanata Dharma University Jogjakarta. Before moving to Sumbawa, I worked at Pelangi Indonesia School in Jogjakarta for 3 years, 1 year as a teacher and my last two years as the school’s principal.  I have also worked for LSPPA (Institute of woman and child development), a non-governmental organization in Jogjakarta who support women and children with specific issues and problems.  I believe that the first five years of a child’s life are fundamentally important. They are the foundation years that shape the child’s future health, happiness, growth, development and learning at school, in the family, the community, and in life in general. That’s the reason why I chose to work with preschool /kindergarten children so I can apply my knowledge of child developmental psychology to help my students grow and reach their full emotional, social and psychological potential.  Living in Sumbawa provides for me a lot of opportunities to enjoy my hobbies.   I like to travel around Indonesia, experiencing the local art, culture and beautiful nature. Assalamualaikum Wr. Wb.

Hello!  My name is Sri Wahyuni however everyone calls me Yuni. I am originally from Sumbawa, Nusa Tenggara Barat, Indonesia. My  father comes from Sumbawa and my mother from Toraja, South Sulawesi. I am married to Zuhri Azmi (Jim) and he works for BRI (Bank Rakyat Indonesia). We have 3 lovely children.

Before starting with SBB, I worked to BHIS (Batu Hijau International School) as a Teacher Assistant since 2000 to 2008. Working with people from different countries was very fun and knowledgeable for me.

I worked at SBB as an Admin Assistant Manager from 2008 until 2017. Currently, I work as Secretary of the Head of School. I love being an admin because it is challenging when I have different jobs. Working with SBB is not only about administration, but also about multimedia such as designing books like the Newsletter, Yearbook, handbook etc. it is amazing and so fun to have great and lovely colleagues to work with.

A favorite quote of mine: Making a million friends is not a miracle, but the miracle is to make a friend.
